• The freely rotating stainless steel insert allows the bottle to be opened without disconnecting the tube connections
• Simplified transfer of liquids within closed and sterile systems through the bottle cap adapter
• All parts are fully welded, to prevent inclusions and cavities
• Hygienic, electropolished surface for efficient cleaning and sterilization
• Supplied complete with a USP <88> Class VI silicone O-ring gasket and a PBT GL 45 screw cap to provide a hygienic hermetic seal
• Lot coded for tracability and lot specific certification

Product Overview

A robust and resistant hose connection system for DURAN® GL 45 laboratory and media bottles of all sizes. The bottle cap adapter simplifies the aseptic transfer of liquids within closed and sterile systems. The push-on tubing connectors on the inside and outside of the cap are suitable for connecting flexible tubing with an internal diameter of 8.0 mm. The freely rotating stainless steel middle piece allows the bottle to be opened without having to disconnect the tube connections. Connections and middle piece are made of stainless steel type 316L (1.4404/S31603). The silicone seal and the red GL 45 screw cap made of PBT ensure a liquid-tight seal. Wide temperature application range (up to 180 °C). Autoclavable (at 121 or 134 °C). With lot specific Retrace Code.
